Peter has installed the FIX for Windows-8 again this evening, making it 7 installs. The FIX changes the Metro patchwork interface back to the familiar Win-XP or WIN-7 desktop. It is a reversible program, but everybody has loved the change so far.
The wi-fi was tweaked by Harold and Peter by installing a second signal named Navajo Room. Two signals were in use and only hiccupped briefly in the evening. The new signal comes off a D-Link G-band transmitter. The original signal is named RoomA and comes off the Cisco router. Could this problem be solved ? 20 computers were online at once tonight..
The members split into 3 groups: PC, Android and iPad for the rest of the session.
It was lights out at 8:15 pm.
