to your system, CREATE a RESTORE POINT. This allows you to back out of trouble. Click on START. In SEARCH type CREATE. Click on CREATE A RESTORE POINT. Follow through the guided steps.

Jim's presentation began with a demonstration of 2 small photo-fixing utilities. These copy onto your desktop and are very simple and intuitive. The RESIZER will batch resize easily. These 2 utilities are available off disks in the lab.

The clone tool in Corel PaintShop is excellent for repairing old photos and removing damage spots. PaintShop has a steep learning curve and a steep price. Video tutorials click.

When installing any photo program, proceed slowly. DO NOT make the program the default viewer or photo organizer. Be very suspicious of any ticked boxes along the way.
