The meeting came to order at 7 PM under the gavel of Jim Tilbe.
21 members were present.

Peter recounted his adventures with the FBI/DoJ ransomeware virus.  This locks the screen completely and demands $450 for escape.
The fix is somewhat complex.
-Start by shutting down the computer: hold down the power button for 7 seconds.
-Start up but keep tapping the F8 button as it revs up.
- Select START IN SAFE MODE
- Once in safe mode, go into the RUN or SEARCH box. Type RESTORE.
-Go up to SYSTEM RESTORE and work through it.

This is a good reason to CREATE restore points occasionally as a safety net.
