Need a SHUTDOWN button for Windows 8 ?

Right click on the desktop and select “New” and then “Shortcut”.

In the “Type the location of the item:” space, paste in the following: C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00

Change the Icon (Change Icon) tab  and select desired icon. Click Apply and OK and it will appear on your desktop and work.
